On November 17 Pearl Jam is releasing a 30th anniversary edition of their “Vs”.
The release is being offered in a variety of versions depending on where it is offered…
Pearl Jam is offering a Dreamsicle (translucent orange with white swirls) double vinyl album and a clear cassette version.
Target is offering a single clear vinyl album.
For fans outside of the U.S., an international clear vinyl album is being made available.
And other participating retailers will have a traditional black double LP release.
After bursting on the rock scene in 1991, “Vs” was the band’s second album and sold nearly one million copies in the first five days after the release – besting the sales of the remaining Billboard top 10 combined! And went on to top the Billboard Album chart for five weeks.
“Vs” gone on to be certified seven time platinum in the United States for selling seven million copies and a total of 10 million copies around the world.
