New Orleans Jazz Festival

Barring any more pandemics or natural disasters, The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival is set to take place the last weekend in April and the first weekend in May.

Jazz Fest producer Quint Davis noted that he is really excited for this year’s event. Adding, “this one is special.  We’ve got something for everybody. Don’t just read through the first few names on the list. Read down through it. There’s some great stuff all over it. If there’s someone scheduled that you haven’t heard of, go to YouTube or Google them. There’s buried treasure in this festival.”

New Orleans natives Jon Batiste, Trombone Shorty, and the Preservation Jazz Hall Band are among the performers.

Other artists include Lizzo, Ed Sheeran, Dead & Company, Mumford & Sons, The Lumineers, Santana, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Gary Clark Jr., Jill Scott, Kenny Loggins and the Wu-Tang Clan, Robert Plant and Alison Krauss, Kane Brown, H.E.R., the Steve Miller Band, Ludacris, Trombone Shorty, Leon Bridges, Sir Tom Jones, Herbie Hancock, Buddy Guy, Irma Thomas, Melissa Etheridge, NE-YO and Galactic,

Along with the dozens of music stages, the New Orleans Jazz Festival includes numerous food vendors plying the tastes of Louisiana and a plethora of art and craft exhibitions.

This year the annual festival features something special – a celebration of Puerto Rico that includes music, dance, authentic cuisine, and cultural events.
