Rockers Mott the Hoople are celebrating a major career milestone – the 50th anniversary of their album “All the Young Dudes” – with a limited edition boxed set on December 8. The five disc collection will include a remastered edition of the album plus some previously unreleased versions of the songs.

The remastered album will also be made available on limited edition orange vinyl.

“All the Young Dudes” was originally released in the United Kingdom in 1972; the band’s fifth album, it became an inspiration for some iconic artists including Queen, The Clash, Kiss, Primal Scream, Motley Creu, and Joe Elliott of Def Leppard.

The album’s title cut “All the Young Dudes” was penned by legendary rocker David Bowie.

The set includes both vinyl and CD editions of the original album; plus a second vinyl and disc of rare mixesa nd session tracks; plus a 12 inch single of “All the Young Dudes” and “One of the Boys”, a 72 page book, posters, prints, and a numbered certificate.
