It has been over 40 years since Bob Marley died at the age of 36 as the result of brain cancer.  But on August 4, there will be some new music by Bob Marley with “Africa Unite” – an album featuring collaborations by contemporary African musicians.

Fusing Reggae and Afrobeats, “Africa Unite” feature Marley classics in a new way.  Included in the 10 song album is music by Sarkodie, Tiwa Savage, Teni, and Oxlade who put their own spin on Marley’s music.

Bob Marley was taken from this world far too soon, but his musical legacy lives on through his family, friends, and fans.  His album “Legend” has remained on the Billboard Album Chart for nearly 700 weeks!

“Africa Unite” will introduce a whole new generation of music fans to the legend that is Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Bob Marley.

The first single from the album “Three Little Birds” featuring Nigerian artists Teni and Oxlale is available now.

Only three of the songs included on the album have been revealed – the first single “Three Little Birds”, “Stir it Up”, and “Waiting in Vain”.
