While the All-Star game rosters continue to be somewhat fluid as players opt out due to injury or fatigue, the home run derby lineup is set and ready for a Monday night spectacle sure to please any avid baseball fan.
Seeding for the matchups were sent by the number of home runs hit by a player between the beginning of the season and July 4. In case of a tie, the player with the most home runs since June 15 was listed as the higher seed.The eight players participating in the Home Run Derby in Seattle this year are: Luis Robert Jr from the Chicago White SoPete Alonso of the New York Mets Mookie Betts of the Los Angeles Dodgers Adolis Garcia of the Texas Rangers Randy. Each player chooses who he would like to “pitch” the balls to them which are designed to elicit the maximum number of home runs possible.
