With the Covid-19 pandemic still raging around the world, getting the band together to record some new music can be difficult at best.

Though no longer together as a band, Pink Floyd will be releasing some expanded editions of their live album “Delicate Sound of Thunder”.

Set for a November 20 release, the original “Delicate Sound of Thunder” was recorded over a five night stint at the Nassau Coliseum in Long Island, New York.

The was the first recording after founding members Roger Waters and Richard Wright had left the band; although Richard Wright did return for the live shows and the recording of the album “A Momentary Lapse of Reason” as one of the salaried musicians.  David Gilmour and Nick Mason continued on as Pink Floyd.

The new release is taken from the original recording was re-edited and restored for inclusion in the Pink Floyd boxed set “The Later Years”.

The November 20 release will be available in a variety of formats from vinyl to DVD and multiple CD packages and feature bonus tracks.
