The lug nut monster was very busy last weekend in the desert when all three of the NASCAR series raced at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.  Seven teams across two of the racing series were fined for violations involving an improperly secured lug nut.

As a result of the violation…
Matt McCall, crew chief for the race winning number one car driven by Kurt Busch
Greg Erwin, crew chief for the number 21 car driven by Matt DiBenedetto
and Seth Barbour, crew chief for the number 38 car driven by John Hunter Nemechek
were each fined $10,000.

Bruce Schlicker, crew chief for the number 10 car driven by Ross Chastain
Dave Rogers, crew chief for the number 18 car driven by Riley Herbst
Ben Beshore, crew chief for the number 20 car driven by Harrison Burton
and Brian Wilson, crew chief for the number 22 car driven by Austin Cindric
were each fined $5,000.
