For the Country music and Bluegrass band Town Mountain the release of their new single “You Can’t Win ‘Em All” has been a long time coming.

Recorded nearly a year ago after their Red Rocks performance, any extra recording, mixing, and engineering of the song had to be done during the national lockdown due to the COVID-19 virus.  Grammy Award winning Joel Savoy produced the song.

Written by singer and mandolin player Phil Barker, the song laments on a lost love and past decisions.

Hailing from Asheville, North Carolina; Town Mountain is Phil Barker, Jesse Langlais, Robert Greer, Bobby Britt, and Zach Smith.  Since forming in 2007, the band has shared the stage with the Yonder Mountain String Band, Del McCoury, Ralph Stanley and His Clinch Mountain Boys, and Greensky Bluegrass.  And they have performed on the coveted Grand Ole Opry stage in the Ryman Auditorium.

“You Can’t Win ‘Em All” will be available on all digital platforms beginning Friday, July 10.
