The Xfinity Series travels to Pocono Speedway for the Pocono Green 250. Nearly half of the field has never been on the two and a half mile Tricky Triangle.

The Xfinity Series brought 41 cars to the track to fill 40 spots.

After three rounds of qualifying Cole Custer wins the pole for his fiftieth career start.

Stages one and two of the race will be a shoot out of only 25 laps each with stage three lasting 50 laps.

Cole Custer brings the field down for the green flag start of the race but it is Austin Cindric that gets out in front for the lead of the race as drivers get three wide across the track going into turn one.

Lap nine Kyle Busch has pulled out to a lead of nearly three seconds on Christopher Bell; Brandon Jones, Cole Custer, and Austin Cindric round out the top five.

Lap 10 Kyle Busch’s lead is now over three seconds.

Lap 14 Kyle Busch has pulled out to a lead of nearly four seconds on Christopher Bell with Cole Custer, Austin Cindric, and Elliott Sadler rounding out the top five.

Lap 16 Kyle Busch’s lead is now nearly five seconds with 32 cars on the lead lap.

Lap 17 Kyle Busch is driving away with the race with a lead of over five and a half seconds on Christopher Bell with Austin Cindric, Cole Custer, and Elliott Sadler rounding out the top five.

Lap 19, Kyle Busch has a lead of over six seconds on Christopher Bell; Austin Cindric, Cole Custer, and Elliott Sadler round out the top five.

Taking only two tires, Chase Elliott wins the race off of pit road. Kyle Busch came out in second.

Kyle Busch was caught speeding on pit road and will have to restart the race from the back of the field.

Christopher Bell was also caught speeding on pit road.

Ryan Reed’s team was charged with the crew members coming over the pit wall too soon.

Cole Custer brings the field down for the green flag start of stage two on lap 31.

Michael Annett gets loose and spins out bringing out the caution flag. Annett held on to the car to avoid hitting anything or anybody.

Cole Custer brings the field down for the green flag restart on lap 35 and jumps out in front for the lead with Justin Allgaier in second. Kyle Busch is in 20th place.

Lap 36, the top five are Cole Custer, Justin Allgaier, John Hunter Nemechek, Paul Menard, and Austin Cindric.

Taking it two and three wide, Kyle Busch is in 13th only two laps after the restart on lap 37.

Lap 38, Cole Custer has a narrow lead on Justin Allgaier with Paul Menard, John Hunter Nemechek, and Austin Cindric rounding out the top five.

Lap 39, Kyle Busch is in eleventh place.

Lap 40 Cole Custer holds on to the lead but Justin Allgaier is on his bumper challenging for the lead; with Kyle Busch in the top 10 in tenth place four and a half seconds back.

Lap 42 Cole Custer holds on to the lead with Justin Allgaier in second; Paul Menard, Austin Cindric, and John Hunter Nemechek rounding out the top five with Kyle Busch in ninth.

Lap 42, Kyle Busch moves up to seventh place.

Lap 43, Cole Custer continues to lead the race but Kyle Busch is coming on, he is now in sixth place.

Lap 45, Cole Custer continues to hold on to the lead of the race with Justin Allgaier in second; Paul Menard, Austin Cindric, and John Hunter Nemechek round out the top five with Kyle Busch in sxith place. There are 28 cars on the lead lap.

Lap 47 some drivers are making green flag pit stops.

Taking only two tires, Matt Tifft wins the race off of pit road. Elliott Sadler had an extended pit stop with some car issues.

After staying out on the track, John Hunter Nemechek leads the race and will bring the field down for the start of stage three.

After having some issues on pit road, Kyle Busch will restart the race outside of the top 10.

John Hunter Nemechek brings the field down for the green fag start of stage three on lap 56 but it is Brandon Jones who gets out in front for the lead of the race. Kyle Busch is in sixth place.

Lap 57 the top five are Brandon Jones, Paul Menard, Cole Custer, Kyle Busch, and Christopher Bell. There are 29 cars on the lead lap.

Chase Briscoe hits the wall hard and brings out the caution flag. Michael Annett was also involved in the crash.

Lap 77, Kyle Busch holds on to a one second lead over Cole Custer with 26 cars on the lead lap.

Lap 80 – 20 to go – Kyle Busch has pulled out to a lead of over a second and a half with Cole Custer in second; Daniel Hemric, Austin Cindric, and Chase Elliott round out the top five. As the laps count down, drivers are concerned over whether or not they have enough fuel to make it to the end of the race.

Lap 84, Kyle Busch continues to lead the race by over two seconds with Cole Custer in second with Daniel Hemric, Chase Elliott, and Austin Cindric rounding out the top five.

Lap 86, with Kyle Busch in the lead, drivers behind him jockey for position with Daniel Hemric in second, Cole Custer in third, Chase Elliott in fourth, and Austin Cindric in fifth.

Leading 65 laps Kyle Busch wins the race for career win number 92, but it is the first time that Kyle has won an Xfinity race at Pocono. There are 15 tracks where all three of NASCAR’s series run at the same track. Kyle Busch had won at 14 of them with only Pocono remaining for Kyle. He has now set another record for the second week in a row.

Kyle Busch’s number 18 car failed post race inspection with improper ride height measurements. NASCAR will assess any penalties next week but since Busch is not competing for the championship in the Xfinity Series, he will not have to worry with losing points or encumbered wins.
