In 2013, Country music legend Randy Travis had a stroke and it was unknown at the time whether, Travis would ever be able to record and perform again.

Eighteen years later, Travis will release a new album of all new original material.  Set for a November 13 release, the first single “Same Old Way” has been released.

The title track was written by Travis and producer Kyle Lehning.  This marks the first time that Lehning is given major songwriting credit on a song.

Travis said, “when life throws you a curveball, swing for the fences the ‘same old way’ and hope you knock it out of the park! Team Travis helped me run the bases on this one, and it feels like a home run! It’s a joy and a blessing to be able to bring new music to my listeners-thank you all for still showing up for me.”

Spanning a career from 1986 to 2013, Lehning found some of the songs buried in the vault and remastered the recordings with Travis’ aid for the new album.
