The Broadway Cares’ Broadway Flea Market and Grand Auction is set to return at the end of the month.
The September 27 event features dozens of tables filled with memorabilia, a live grand auction, and a silent auction – currently running at BroadwayCares.org.
Celebrating 40 years of offering theatre fans a wide variety of Broadway and Off-Broadway memorabilia and autographed items.
The festivities begin at 10am in the heart of New York City – West 44th and West 45th Streets between Seventh and Eighth Avenues – and run until 7pm with the live auction kicking off at 5pm.
Auction and silent auction items include one of a kind experiences, tickets, vintage set pieces, costumes, and meet and greets.
And again this year the Autograph Table and Photo Booth make a return where fans can take photos with their favourite actors.
The first Broadway Flea Market began with just two tables set up by cast members from “A Chorus Line”. Last year the Flea Market and auctions featured some 60 tables and brought in a record setting $1,633,803. Since the Flea Market began, it has brought in over $21 million for the various causes championed by Broadway Cares.
