The revival cast of the musical “Falsettos” has planned a 10th anniversary performance on October 18.  But the reunion turned out to be much more popular than originally thought and the musical has added a second performance on November 2 at Carnegie Hall.

Tickets for the new show are on sale now and can be purchased at CarnigieHall.org.

Performers for the shows include Stephanie J. Block, Christian Borle, Brandon Uranowitz, Tracie Thoms, Betsy Wolfe, and Andrew Rannells.

Anthony Rosenthal will give a special guest performance.  He was the pre-teen Jason in the 2016 revival.

Vadim Feichtner will direct the band comprised of most of the original band members.

Anthony Rannells spoke via statement on returning to the show saying, “I am thrilled to have the chance to revisit this extraordinary show with this incredible cast.  Being part of the 2016 revival remains one of the proudest moments of my career and bringing it to the stage of Carnegie Hall feels both surreal and deeply meaningful.  It’s a tremendous Honor and a beautiful tribute to Bill and James extraordinary work.”

Betsy Wolfe added, “I’ve been trying to imagine what it’s going to feel like when the lights go down and this company walks back onstage together for the first time in 10 years, and honestly, I don’t think any of us are ready for that moment.  There’s someting incredibly special about knowing it will only happen once. “

The October 18 performance will go to support The BroadwayEveryDay Foundation and Family Equality.

Created at the height of the AIDS crisis, “Falsettos” opened on Broadway in 1992 following an unconventional family that arises after Marvin tells his wife, Trina, that he’s gay.
