Hmmmmmmm…
The Norse in me would love to see the “ancestral homes”. To visit the countries of origin. The story goes that we started in Denmark/Galatia and then did an island hop from there to Scotland to Ireland, and to England before crossing to America beginning in 1607.
The photographer in me wants to see everything; to have a chance to film the beautiful land- and seascapes of this world before they are all destroyed; either by natural disaster, climate change, or man.
These days Russia is getting a bad name, but it isn’t the nation that is the problem…it’s the leaders of the nation that are the problem. That being said, I want to go back; especially St. Petersburg and visit. I don’t even know if Peter’s parents are still alive or how to find it, but I would like to visit his grave.
But, to go to all of the places I want would require for me to win a very large lottery…and that’s not going to happen.
