Queen has remastered and expanded their “Queen II” album into a variety of formats – 2CD Deluxe, Vinyl, Vinyl Picture Disc, CD, Cassette, and a massive 5CD+2LP box set that include previously unreleased demos, outtakes, live tracks, and a 112 page book.
The book includes previously unseen photos, handwritten lyrics, diary entries, special memorabilia, and memories from the band.
Queen guitarist Sir Brian May spoke on the album saying, “’Queen II’ was the single biggest leap we ever made. That’s when we really started making music the way we wanted to, rather than the way we were being pushed into recording it.”
Roger Taylor added, “I don’t think the album sound like someone else. We gained a mental identity, a group identity and we were just doing what we do.”
