Considering my appointment at the asthma doctor yesterday, I would say my biggest challenge over the next several months is simply breathing!
Breathing is most likely going to become an issue for many Americans with environmental regulations being dismantled, pollution is going to be a major issue for everyone…but especially for people with breathing issues.
With my asthma misdiagnosed for a number of years, the damage was done and is now marginally controlled.
I find myself checking the air quality more often than the temperature and weather conditions. Bad Air Day…stay inside!
Between the bad air and the excessive heat (at least in the northeast), I spent much of last summer in my apartment. I don’t expect it to be a whole lot different this coming summer…if it ever gets here. At the moment there is a good six to eight inches of snow in the yard.
Companies may end up saving a bit of money with the elimination of pollution regulations, but Americans will see a decided increase in medical expenses with an increase of respiratory issues. BTW: inhalers aren’t cheap!
