What books do you want to read?

At the moment there is a virtual library on my Kindle. It says that I have over 900 books and have read over 250 of them. So, obviously, there is plenty of books remaining to keep me busy.

However, there are a few books that I am hoping Amazon puts on the Kindle versions on sale soon – Daniel Silva and James Rollins both have new books out.

I’m still working on completing the Sigma Force series by James Rollins; but I do own every one of Daniel Silva’s Gabriel Allon series…except the newest one.

Maybe I am wrong, but I don’t think a Kindle book – electronic – should cost the same as a print book.

Any whooooo, I am as picky aobut my authors as I am when it comes to food…very! I have found some books that sound interesting that I have downloaded; hopefully they will prove to be a good read.

Last year I read 64 books! Some of them were VERY interesting. I do a great deal of reading and noticed some books take a little longer to finish than “normal”. I figured it out…when I find interesting facts that I want to keep or remember, I highlight them. And since the Kindle itself doesn’t hold the highlights like the app, I have to switch over to the app for the highlighting. Slows down the process a bit, but I still keep a pretty steady pace going.

So far this year, I have finished the James Rollins book “Devil Colony” – one of those with lots of highlights that I started last month and have read three more – of them a Dale Brown book.

I have quite a list of books to read, but they aren’t really in any particular order. Sometimes I will download a book that gets moved to the top of the list but I try to alternate between a “heavy” book – like a James Rollins book – and something lightweight that doesn’t require a great deal of thought – an easy read.
