After the departure of Lesli Odom Jr from “Hamilton”, the show remains in the top five, it has dropped at the box office; but still brought in over $2.
There is a new leader at the top in one of its biggest box office weeks in Broadway history with “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” with nearly $3 million. The return of original Draco Malfoy – Tom Felton – has also brought a big boost to the show.
The week after Thanksgiving, it was no surprise that the overall box office draw was down; but still draw in over $42 million.
A total of 21 of the 34 shows running made it into the Million Dollar Club last week.
