Opening to previews on October 14 with an official opening on November 6, “Obama – The Musical” – a satire of the Obama presidency – was originally scheduled for a limited engagement of just eight weeks.
Less than one week after the opening, the show has been extended another four weeks for a January 4 closing.
The Off Broadway comedy stars “The Voice” alum T. J. Wilkins as President Barack Obama. Shanice plays First Lady Michelle Obama.
Joe Biden, Mitch McConnell, Sarah Palin, Hilary Clinton, Herman Cain, Lindsey Graham, and Ted Cruz also make appearances in the musical.
