It has been nearly 50 years since The Rolling Stones released their album “Black and Blue”.
In celebration of the album’s release, The Stones are releasing a Super Deluxe Box Set on November 14. The package will be available in a 5LP, 4CD, and a limited edition 5LP black and blue marbled vinyl. All packages come with a Blu-ray disc, a replica tour poster, and 100 page hardback book. Streamlined double and single disc releases will also be released. Along with the remastered album are previously unreleased songs, jams, and a full concert performance.
Their 13th album, it is the first time fans heard the guitar sounds of Ronnie Wood. Billy Preston was a guest performer on the album.
The album debuted at number one in the US and stayed there for four weeks and was certified platinum.
