The Rock Hall notes, “the boundaries between popular music categories both diverge and blur, generating a vast and diverse catalog the likes of which audiences have never heard before. From pop princesses to rebel rappers, from country chart-toppers to indie icons, today’s scene exemplifies the inclusive and ever-changing spirit that is rock & roll.”
Adding, “music past and present blend in such a way to produce a preview of what is to come. Though the future of rock & roll is full of promise and potential, this moment in music is a celebration, right here, right now.
