The annual Kids Night on Broadway returns August 19; allowing a family night out at the theatre.  Kids, 18 and under, can attend one of the 18 participating shows free when accompanied by a full paying adult.  The annual event includes restaurant discounts – a free kids meal with the purchase of an adult entrée –  from participating restaurants and in-theatre activities including talkbacks, sing-alongs, and activity books.

Also, as a part of Kids’ Night on Broadway, ticket holders can attend special activities from 4:30-6:15 pm at Duffy Square to meet cast members and take part in a variety of activities.  The first 500 ticket holders at Duffy Square will receive a tote bag and a Krispy Kreme treat.

Kids’ Night on Broadway show for “The Great Gatsby” is on August 20.

Broadway League president Jason Laks said via a statement, “New York City is alive during the summer and Kids’ Night creates a unique opportunity for families to come to Broadway for an evening of fun.  These 18 extraordinary shows offer something for all ages and allow parents, grandparents, or other family members to introduce younger audiences to live theatre and nurture their love for the arts.”
