In a return to the oval tracks, NASCAR took on Miles the Monster and the one mile concrete track at Dover Motor Speedway on a doubleheader weekend with the Xfinity and Cup Series races. 

Rain was the big topic of the day on Saturday after Cup Series practice and qualifying were cancelled.  The rains also played a part in both races, causing red flag conditions.

Denny Hamlin became the first driver to win four races this season, but it is Chase Elliott who tops the point standings with 702 points; dropping William Byron to second place 16 points behind.
