Bruce Springsteen: ‘The Lost Albums’

It is not uncommon for artists to record two and three times the amount of music that will eventually appear on an album.  After a while they have built up quite a collection of music.

“The Boss” Bruce Springsteen has amassed quite a collection of music over the years and now those tunes are finally seeing the light of day as a part of “The Lost Albums” collection.

“Tracks II: The Lost Albums” has just been released with 83 songs on seven records spanning 35 years.

Springsteen spoke on the collections saying, “the ability to record at home whenever I wanted allowed me to go into a wide variety of different musical directions.”

He adds, “‘The Lost Albums’ were full records, some of them even to the point of being mixed and not released.  I’ve played this music to myself and often close friends for years now. I’m glad you’ll get a chance to finally hear them. I hope you enjoy them.”

“The Lost Albums” is available as a limited edition LP, CD, and as a digital download and includes a 100 page hardcover book.
