“The Masked Singer” original winner – the one eyed monster – better known as T-Pain is celebrating 20 years in the music business with a big tour that will include a show in his hometown of Tallahassee.
“Twenty years ago, I was just Faheem. Just a kid from Tallahassee with a handful of harmonies and a heart that refused to shut up.”
Twenty years later, that kid has grown up, and is a two time Grammy Award winning artist.
His home show on October 17 at the Tucker Civic Center is a part of the Homecoming festivities for Florida A&M University.
T-Pain noted that “who comes to shows in the fall isn’t just a fan. They’re family now.” He added, “I’m not just throwing a concert. I’m throwing the most extravagant party and celebration that I’ve ever thrown in my life.”
