Last month the Kyle Petty Charity Ride completed its 29th annual ride. Naming the ride, The Tour of Wonders, it all began in Traverse, Michigan and made stops at the Henry Ford Museum, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Niagara Falls, and Watkins Glen International speedway for a few laps before ending the ride in Hot Springs, Virginia.

Over the course of the seven day ride, 125 motorcycles, 200 people, and dozens of support vehicles traveled 1,400 miles across seven states. The 2025 Kyle Petty Chairty Ride raised over $1.4 million for the Victory Junction camp!

Victory Junction is a camp in Randleman, North Carolina that caters to chronically ill and disabled children. It costs $2,500 to send a child to the camp for a week, but none of the families have to pay any money thanks to Kyle Petty and his Charity Ride.

Ride creator Kyle Petty spoke on the ride saying, “The Ride is something that I look forward to each year, and to have the ability to create memories and lifelong connections with our riders is something that is extra special. This year’s theme was the ‘Tour of Wonders,’ and we hit some incredible wonders along the way. From wrapping around the scenic views of Lake Michigan, Lake Erie and Lake Ontario, to the iconic Niagara Falls, and finishing the Ride through the mountains of Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Virginia, the natural backdrop to this year’s route was breathtaking. We also made time for our riders to explore many of the places we simply passed by in previous years, such as the Henry Ford Museum, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and Corning Museum of Glass. To see so many fans at each of our stops was truly amazing, and their contributions to Victory Junction mean the world to all of us and help send even more kids to camp each year.”
Since Petty created the Charity Ride in 1995, they have raised over $23 million for the Victory Junction Camp.

Petty noted, “The Ride could not happen each year without the generous support and contributions of our unbelievable sponsors. Not only do each of our partners provide contributions to Victory Junction, but they also work diligently to supply our riders with incredible products to use along the route, as well as providing great food, fellowship, activities and more when the riders are not on their motorcycles.”

Among the riders this year joining Petty were, father and seven time NASCAR champion Richard Petty; former NASCAR drivers Max Papis, Ken Schrader, and Kenny Wallace; NFL legend Herschel Walker, the great-grandson of Harley-Davidson founder William A Davidson, Bill; and TV personalities Rick Allen and Rutledge Wood.
