Metallica is releasing a new remastered limited edition of their album “Load”. The original album stayed at the top of the Billboard 200 Album chart for four weeks and has been certified as five time platinum for selling at least five million copies in the United States.
Set for a June 13 release, “Load” is available now for pre-order. Pre-ordered albums come with an immediate release of the tracks “Until it Sleeps” in a live, remastered, and various mix versions.
The Limited Edition boxed set will be available on vinyl, CD, cassette, and digital formats.
The Deluxe Box Set is “a time capsule” of Metallica’s music from 1995 to 97 and includes previously unreleased material, the original vinyl album, a “Mama Said” picture disc, and the live “Loadapalooza ‘96” release in a 15 CD package. Also included in the package are “a pack of 14 Rorschach Test cards, a Pushead patch, an 11×17 Lollapalooza poster, an Rolling Stone cover reproduction, a 5-pack of guitar/bass picks, lyric sheets, two laminated tour passes and a deluxe 128-page book.”
