It was a long recovery but Broadway is back after years of beleaguered numbers after the Covid pandemic.  Last year Broadway saw the second highest sales in international sales over the past 30 years.  With nearly half of the visitors to Broadway last year came from outside the city with 21 percent of those from outside the United States – over two and a half million.

Last week late night TV host Jimmy Fallon made his Broadway debut in “All In: Comedy About Love” and put the show not only in the Million Dollar Club but joined “Wicked” in the $2 Million Dollar Club.  “The Lion King”, “Gypsy”, and “Hamilton” rounded out the top five with 15 of the 29 shows currently running in the Million Dollar Club.
