The Baseball Writers Association of America have cast their votes and on January 21, 2025, the newest class to the National Baseball Hall of Fame are revealed.
Later this summer the newest inductees will travel to the central New York town of Cooperstown for the official induction ceremony.
Currently there are 21 players in the Hall of Fame who were born outside of the United States. With Ichiro Suzuki a part of the lists of finalists in his first year of eligibility, that number may change. If he gets name to the Hall of Fame, Ichiro will be the first player born in Japan to become a member of the Baseball Hall of Fame.
A total of 28 players made the list of finalists for The Hall with half of them making the list for the first time.

A player must earn 75 percent of the vote in order to be elected to the Hall of Fame.
The newest class of Hall of Famers will be officially inducted on July 27 in Cooperstown.
