Like the Olympics, the World Baseball Classic returns every four years. When the WBC returns in 2026, 20 teams from around the world will be competing for the title.
There will be four pools of five teams with the top two teams moving on to the quarterfinals in Miami and Houston set to begin March 13.
The semifinals and finals will be held in Miami beginning March 15.
Each pool will include a qualifier team which will be named later.
Pool A will play in San Juan, Puerto Rico and is set to begin March 6.
The Pool A teams are:

Pool B will play in Houston, Texas and is set to begin March 6.
The Pool B teams are:
United States
Mexico
Italy
Great Brittain
Pool C will play in Tokyo, Japan and is set to begin March 5.
The Pool C teams are:

Korea
Czechia
Pool D will play in Miami, Florida and is set to begin on March 6.
The Pool D teams are:

Netherlands
