ALP has compiled at 17 track compilation titled “Grateful: The Music Plays the Band”. Key members of the Grateful Dead’s musical community perform some of the Grateful Dead’s best songs.
Proceeds from the album sales will go to the charity “The Grateful Guitars Foundation – an organization that provides musical instruments for talented players carrying on the tradition of jam band music. The Foundation was founded in 2019 and also helps to support music in the schools.
Grateful Guitars Foundation is set to hold their benefit concert in San Francisco at the Great American Music Hall on August 13. Performers include Melvin Seals, John Kadlecik, Barry Sless, Elliott Peck, David Hidalgo, and Steve Berlin.
