Broadway legend Stephen Sondheim died in 2021; on June 18 Doyle Auctions will be auctioning off over 450 items from Sondheim’s estate.

The collection includes household items, antique games, and a large collection of mementos from his career that includes show posters, books, and a musical score from “Gypsy”.

The auction will be held June 18 beginning at 10am at Doyle’s Manhattan showroom on East 78th Street.  The collection will be on display June 14-17 at the showroom.

Sondheim began his career with “West Side Story” and “Gypsy”.  His other credits include “Company”, “Follies”, “A Little Night Music”, “Pacific Overtures”, “Sweeney Todd” “Sunday in the Park with George”, “Into the Woods”, “Passion”, and “Assassins”.

An Emmy short of an EGOT, Sondheim earned seven Tonys, eight Grammys, an Oscar, and a Pulitzer Prize for Drama.
