Describe something you learned in high school.

Just how cruel kids coul be!

I was not the “typical” high school student. I was somewhat smarter than my fellow classmates…and…well, I not only wore glasses, I did so due to poor vision.

Parson the language…
But my sophmore year in high school was a “living hell”. Kids thought is was funny to hide things from me and take my stuff.

In band class, I ended up buying my own mallets for the keyboard percussion instruments I played and I had to memorize my music. It was a good thing because they kept swiping it!

Later I learned that as bad as things were, it could have been worse…one of the boys in the group had a bit of a liking for me and held down some of the nonsense.

The next year I was in another school – I spent three years in high school – three schools in two cities.

I was never so glad to finally be done with high school!

And people wonder why I keep to myself…
