Due to privacy laws and concerns over identity theft, businesses can no longer ask for your Social Security number.

So, now the big question is your birthday or simply your birth year. Now everybody in the world knows our birthdays! How is that secure?????

You can’t fill out a form ANYWHERE without the question of when is your birthday or what year were you born?

I never really think about my age and while I don’t care if someone knows what day my birthday is, the year is none of their business! I have one of those birthdays that coincides with a historical event, so I can tell someone when my birthday is without telling them the date.

There has to be a better way to keep private information secure without asking personal questions; especially one that is no longer a safe question since the whole world knows what it is.

People used to ask for your mother’s maiden name. Trouble is my first name IS my mother’s maiden name!

Nothing secure there!

Every time one of my doctor’s offices asks me what my birthday is, I wonder what would happen if they had more than one person with the exact same birthday??? I have a friend whose birthday is the same day as mine but different years. I share a birthday with Elmo, but I don’t think there is any danger of getting us confused…I’m red and furry. 🙂 🙂
