This past weekend NASCAR made a historic return to North Wilkesboro Speedway in North Carolina after a 27 year absence. While the weekend was filled with Cup Series All Star events, the Craftsman Truck Series ran a race on Friday night that included five Cup Series drivers.
In dominating fashion Kyle Larson won the race while he appeared at his 199th different NASCAR track.
But all was not well for all of the drivers, NASCAR has fined the number 88 ThorSport truck driven. by Matt Crafton for having an improperly secured lug nut in post race inspection. Crew chief Shane Wilson has been fined $2,500 for the infraction.
While not giving any specifics, NASCAR has reinstated Jeffrey Shoaf and Deandre Smith.
