It was a doubleheader weekend in the NASCAR return to North Wilkesboro Speedway after a 27 year absence, but it was a points race only for the Craftsman Truck Series; the Cup Series ran its annual All Star Race.
After Cup Series driver Kyle Larson’s dominating win in the Truce Series race, the standings will remain the same with the pole sitter over the past two weeks, Corey Heim sitting at the top with 371 points. Heim, one of seven different drivers to win in the Truck Series this season (including Kyle Busch and Kyle Larson), also leads in the playoff standings with 2,023 points.
