Australian rockers 5 Seconds of Summer will be spending their winter on the road playing dates in the United States and Europe.  The band is also working on some South American dates in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, and Peru.

Many of the North American dates are in outdoor venues.

But before the lads hit the road, they will be releasing some new music – “The Feeling of Falling Upwards” – a live album from the Royal Albert Hall in London.  The digital version of the album will be available April 14 with the physical CD out July 14.

A landmark venue for any artist, the Royal Albert Hall has a special meaning for the band who used to perform outside the venue while recording their debut album.

Speaking on the album’s title, 5 Seconds of Summer singer and drummer Ashton Irwin explains, “’The Feeling of Falling Upwards’ is simply supposed to describe to you the feeling that we have experienced together, the feeling of taking a leap of faith on such a fickle thing like music.  And sharing this experience together year after year, season after season of our lives.”
