The Craftsman Truck Series comes to Bristol for some Saturday night dirt racing on the half mile track.
A total of 41 teams have brought trucks to fill 36 starting spots. The field will be set by four heat races with five drivers not making the race.
Drivers get three “hot laps” before the green flag drops to start the heats.

Stages one is 40 laps long, stage two is 50 laps long, and stage three is 60 laps in length for a total of 150 laps around the half mile track.
In the history of the Truck Series there has been eleven dirt races and eleven different winners.
Several drivers will have to start the race from the back of the field – Kris Wright, Ben Rhodes, Taylor Gray, Spencer Boyd, Jonathan Davenport, Colby Howard, Jake Garcia, and Corey Heim.

Parker Kligerman has to take his truck to the garage after failing to complete repairs during the “crash clock” limit.

At 71 years of age, Norm Benning is the last truck on the lead lap in 25th.
Tyler Carpenter and Timmy Hill bring out the tenth caution flag with 28 laps to go. Carpenter is against the wall with significant damage to the truck. Carpenter was slow to get out of the truck but climbs out smiling.
