After the race at Phoenix Raceway on March 11 that saw the second overtime race in a row and a second win in a row for William Byron, the point and playoff standings have changed at the top.  Previously Ross Chastain was leading in the points but after Denny Hamlin put Chastain in the wall – Hamlin admits purposely – Alex Bowman takes over the point standings with William Byron leading in the playoff points.

In the four races run so far, all three of the winners were driving a Chevrolet.  Chevy leads the manufacturers points with 160.
