It isn’t unusual to see numerous jobs listed on the biography for a new comer to the music business, but it is unusual for a new artist to have a list of Who’s Who in the credits on their debut album.
But Americana music artist Jack Schneider is just such an artist…
On November 11, Schneider will release “Best Be on My Way” with Vince Gill, David Rawlings, Dennis Crouch, and Stuart Duncan among the artists contributing their skills to the album.
Prior to becoming a recording artist in his own right, Schneider was a record producer, songwriter, rhythm guitar player for Vince Gill, and a graduate of the Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music at New York University.
“Best Be on My Way” was recorded live in the studio in Nashville, Tennessee; which means all of the musicians played together at the same time, not individually which is the more common practice today.
The first single from the album Josephine” is out now.
In his native New York City a triple threat is someone who sing, dance, and act; but in his adopted home of Nashville, Jack Schneider is considered a triple threat because he can sing, play guitar, and write songs. He has been playing the guitar since he was three years old…the rest came along a little later.
