With a very appropriate title for today’s world, Anne Elise Hastings releases her new album “Unmasking A Confidence Trickster”.
The Appalachian roots music artist mixes old Country music with a modern flair for this album and shows a wide range of emotions in the process. Hastings is looking to “break down the image that people have created for themselves, enveiling the con artist within everyone.”
The New Orleans resident cites her influences of everything from Dolly Parton to Janis Joplin. She calls her band Anne Elise Hastings and Her Revolving Cast of Characters. And while the characters frequently change, the format and ability to play multiple instruments does not.
