Less than a year after the breakup of The Beatles in 1970, Sir Paul McCartney, wife Linda, Denny Laine, and Denny Seiwell recorded “Wild Life”, the debut album for Wings.

This year marks the 50th anniversary of “Wild Life’s” release.

In celebration of his new rock band…and a new career…Sir Paul is releasing a limited edition half-speed mastered vinyl version of the album.

In an unheard of time span by today’s standards, the album was recorded in less than a week.  Paul and Wings recorded many of the songs on the album in a single take.

There is also a global listening party of the album on February 4 – the day of album release – beginning at noon EST or 5pm BST.  Fans can access the listening party via Apple Music or Spotify.

The album is available for pre-order on PaulMcCartney.com and sells for $34.98US.  The album went on to break the top 10 on the Billboard Album chart and be certified gold by the RIAA – Recording Industry Association of America.
