Seventies pop artist BJ Thomas died last year as a result of cancer, but thanks to music vaults and master tapes Thomas fans will be able to hear new music on February 4.

“In Remembrance – Love Songs & Lost Treasures” is currently available for pre-order from bjthomas.com in the store.  The album features 18 songs including 13 previously unreleased songs and some outtakes. 

Over the course of his six decade career, Thomas earned five Grammy Awards and should over 70 million albums.  Thomas began his musical career with The Triumphs and the release of the Hank Williams song “I’m So Lonesome I Could Cry”.  He became” an overnight success” when he sang the Academy Award winning song “Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head” from the movie “Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid”.  Other hits include “Hooked on a Feeling”, “The Eyes of a New York Woman,” “I Just Can’t Help Believing”, “(Hey, Won’t You Play) Another Somebody Done Somebody Wrong Song”.
