The NASCAR racing season is over but the NASCAR Silly Season is not.  Teams and drivers continue to shuffle around.

On November 30, Front Row Motorsports announced their driver line up for the 2022 season.  Michael McDowell returns to the Cup Series for a fifth year of driving the number 34 car.  Camping World Truck Series driver Todd Gilliland moves up to the Cup Series to join Front Row.  In the Camping World Truck Series Zane Smith will take over the driving duties in the number 38 truck.

Gilliland will join Harrison Burton and Austin Cindric in a battle for the title of “Sunoco Rookie of the Year Award.

Hattori Racing Enterprises has a new car number and a new driver for the 2022 season.  In the Camping World Truck Series Chase Purdy will drive the number 61 truck.  A longtime sponsor for Purdy, BAMA Buggies will continue to sponsor Purdy’s truck.

The winningest team last season in the Camping World Truck Series, Kyle Busch Motorsports has resigned 19 year old driver Chandler Smith to drive the number 18 truck for the 2022 season.  KBM has announced that Safelite AutoGlass returns to sponsor the number 18 truck.  Danny Stockman also returns to the team as crew chief.

The name Menards has been a part of NASCAR for many years.  The auto parts company returns to NASCAR and Team Penske to sponsor the number two car driven by Austin Cindric and the number 12 car driven by Ryan Blaney.  Menards will also be sponsoring the Wood Brothers number 21 car driven by Harrison Burton in 2022.
