Last week, 21 artists took the stage but only 13 survived the night on “The Voice”.

This week those 13 take the stage to battle it out for eleven spots on the results show.

This week the artists will be sending some special dedications out with their songs.

First up is Team Blake and Paris Winningham with “What’s Going On” and dedicating it to his grandmother who died early last year.  Pairs took his hat off and threw it during the performance.  John called Pairs so gifted.  Blake called it an incredible performance.  Blake noted that when Pairs threw his hat it actually landed on someone’s head.

Next up is Team Kelly’s Jeremy Rosado with the Celine Dion song “Because You Love Me” for his dad.  Jeremy said this is the first time he has sung the song.  Ariana said that she is such a fan of Jeremy’s; adding that he always moves her.  Leaving Kelly in tears, she noted that Jeremy is so vulnerable. 

Team Ariana’s Ryleigh Plank chose “Rhiannon” by Fleetwood Mac for her sister who is named Rhiannon.  Blake called the performance really cool.  Ariana called it one of her favourite performances from Ryleigh.

Team Kelly’s trio Girl Named Tom dedicated the Kansas song “Dust in the Wind” for their Grandma Jean who has dementia.  Jean used to perform with her sister.  John called the performance magical and stunning; adding it was their best so far.  Kelly called it a special song in general; adding that all three of them are so gifted…as a group and individually.

Next up is Team Legend’s Shadale with “Life is a Highway” for her truck driving dad…and mom.  Ariana said that she was surprised by the song choice but loved the performance.  John noted that they let the singers choose the songs and was also surprised by Shadale’s song choice.

Last week’s instant save Hailey Mai from Team Kelly chose “I’ll Stand by You” and dedicated it to her coach Kelly Clarkson.  John loves the different textures in Hailey’s voice; adding that the performance was beautiful.  Kelly called Hailey an incredible vocalist. 

Team Blake’s Wendy Moten chose the Linda Ronstadt song “Blue Bayou” and dedicated it in a posthumous dedication to her high school music teacher.  Carson said that it was crazy how effortless Wendy makes things look.  Blake said that Wendy had so much finesse in her performance.

Team Legend’s Jershika Maple chose “God Only Knows” by King and Country and dedicated it to her fourth and fifth grade teachers.  Jershika brought all four of the coaches to their feet.  A tearful Kelly said that it was a beautiful performance.  John noted that you can tell Jershika has a message to tell; adding that it was so inspiring.

Team Ariana’s Jim and Sasha Allen chose the Sir Elton song “Your Song” and dedicated it to cousin Stephanie at age 26.  Blake noted that since the season began, he has seen the greatest improvement from them.  Ariana agreed with Blake that they are improving each week; adding that she is moved by them both.

Team Blake’s Lana Scott sang the Tim McGraw song “Humble and Kind” for her Dad.  Lana is the only Country music artist remaining in the competition.  Blake said that the performance was so good; telling Lana to never lose the innocence in her voice.

Team Kelly’s Gymani went to church for her choice of “Made a Way” for her mother.  Kelly called Gymani so crazy talented; adding that she has a special kind of gift.

Team Legend’s Joshua Vacanti chose “You Will Be Found” from “Dear Even Hanson” to his music and drama teachers.  He also noted that it was for every theater kid who feels they don’t fit in.  Ariana called the performance stunning; adding that he is brilliant.  John loves that there is no one else like Joshua on the show; adding that he loves watching Joshua being himself.

Closing out the night of music is Team Ariana’s Holly Forbes who chose the Garth Brooks song “The Dance” for his step-mother who she says has always been there and a shining example of what a mother should be.  Blake noted that the song changed Garth’s life; adding that he loved Holly’s rendition of the song.  Ariana called it a special rendition of the song; adding that Holly is in her own lane.

On the Tuesday results show two singers will be eliminated from the competition.
