After eight days of competition at the Tokyo Paralympic Games, dozens of World and paralympic records have been broken as the stakes get higher and the times get lower.
The swimming and track and field events continue as tennis and basketball reach their final stages.
The People’s Republic of China continue to lead the gold medal count with 68; as well as, the overall medal count with 147.
The United States has 25 gold medals and a total of 72; 65 percent of those medals have been won by woman.
Two more countries have added their names to the list of medal winners for a total of 82.
