Long before Willie Nelson started “Farm Aid” to help raise funds for America’s farmers, Woody Guthrie released one of the first ever concept albums with “Dust Bowl Ballads” – an album of songs that spoke to the plight of the farmer during the depression.
With the blessings of the Guthrie estate, “Dust Bowl Ballads” is being re-released 81 years later with modern day artists.
“In this World: Woody Guthrie’s Dust Bowl Ballads” has been curated by Grammy Award winning producer Randall Poster.
Set for a September 10 release, “Home in this World” is available now for pre-order.
