With just a couple of weeks remaining in the season on “The Voice”, it is down to the final singers.

Over the weekend it was reported that Nick Jonas was hospitalized after an onset injury while filming. Nick is in his red chair. Nick reports that he took a spill on a bike and cracked a rib and has various bumps and bruises but he is doing okay otherwise.

It’s the semifinals with nine singers vying for five positions. The singers will perform twice tonight – a new solo performance and a trio performance paying tribute to the ’70’s.

Team Legend’s Victor Solomon gets the night of music started off with “I Can Only Imagine” that was originally recorded by MercyMe. Victor brought all four of the coaches to their feet. Kelly called the performance beautiful; saying that she wants to know which church Victor will be at. Noting that he is a preacher’s kid, Nick loved the performance…and is a bit worried for his team after that. John noted that Victor would be great as a minister if he chose to do so.

Team Blake’s Jordan Matthew Young calls himself a working class musician who never dreamed of getting this far on the show. Jordan chose “Rose Colored Glasses” by John Conlee. Blake noted that he performed that song in his early days; adding that Jordan reminds hem of himself. Kelly loved the song; adding that it was perfect. Blake agreed with Kelly; adding that he nailed it and did an incredible job.

In the first trio of the night Cam Anthony, Corey Ward, and Kenzie Wheeler join up for a performance of “Fooled Around and Fell in Love” by Elvin Bishop.

Team Legend’s Pia Renee goes reggae with her rendition of the Bob Marley and the Wailers song “Turn Your Lights Down Low”. Kelly said that Pia already looks like a star; adding that she is very talented. Nick said that it was like watching an award performance; adding that she should win every award. Saying that he is smiling from ear to ear, John loved everything about the performance; adding that it was perfect.

Season 19 finalist Ian Flannigan returns to “The Voice” stage with his coach Blake Shelton to perform his new single “Grow Up”.

Team Nick’s Rachel Mac chose the Christine Perry song “Human”. John called it a revelatory performance; adding that she gave a full range of emotions. Agreeing with John, Kelly called it a powerful performance. Coach Nick said that he was proud of Rachel for opening up; adding that she nailed the vocal performance.

Team Kelly’s Corey Ward – the instant save artist last week – chose to sing “Arcade” by Duncan Laurence. In rehearsals, Kelly said that the song sounded like one Corey had written. Blake noted that Corey is really making some headway; adding that Corey is so authentic. An excited Kelly said that Corey was great; adding that the vocal execution was perfect.

In the next trio; Pia Renee, Dana Monique, and Victor Solomon join up for the Earth, Wind, and Fire hit song “Shining Star”. John was up dancing and even Nick was out of his chair clapping.

Team Kelly’s Gihanna Zoe chose “Reflection” from “Mulan” for her solo performance. The song was originally performed by Christina Aguilera. Host Carson Daly said that it felt like a finale performance. Nick called Gihanna a star; adding that he was blown away by the vocal control. Saying that he has been a fan, John called the performance stunning and impressive. Kelly said that Gihanna delivered; noting that it was a very difficult song to sing.

In the final trio of the night Gihanna Zoe, Rachel Mac, and Jordan Matthew Young join up for a performance of the Fleetwood Mac song “Go Your Own Way”.

For the first time on “The Voice”, Team Nick’s Dana Monique chose to sing “Leave the Door Open” by Bruno Mars and Anderson. Paak. All four coaches were on the feet at the end of the performance. Carson said that Dana did an excellent job. John noted that Dana has been giving them finale worthy performances all season. Nick said that a star is born tonight; saying that she topped her performance from last week.

Team Blake’s Cam Anthony chose the R&B hit “It’s So Hard to Say Goodbye to Yesterday” by Boyz II Men. Cam began the song A Cappella. And once again the coaches were on their feet. Carson said that Cam did a great job. John noted that the song came out before Cam was born; adding that he did a great job. Kelly called the performance incredible and brilliant. A grinning coach Blake called the performance beautiful; adding that Cam is a superstar. Blake predicted that Cam is going to go far in the music business.

Team Kelly’s Kenzie Wheeler closes out the night of music with the George Jones smash hit “He Stopped Loving Her Today”. Kenzie said that it is his mom and grandma’s favourite song. Nick said that Kenzie has wonderfully classic voice. Kelly said that Kenzie is so gifted; adding that he is one of her favourite country artists.
