On April 24, the NASCAR Cup Series ran on the largest track in the circuit with the Geico 500 at Talladega Superspeedway. With his win, Brad Keselowski became the ninth different winner in the 2021 racing season.
Despite finishing in 32nd place, one lap down, Denny Hamlin maintains his lead in the points standings with 446 points – 87 points ahead of second placed driver Martin Truex Jr.
The top five remain the same with race winner Brad Keselowski moving up three spots to sixth.
In the manufacturer’s standings, Ford holds a two point lead with 362 points; while Chevrolet has 360 points. Toyota is in third place with 342 points.
