The pandemic has put many musicians out of work when it comes to live performances; but many of them have kept busy by recording new music.

The Polyphonic Spree have been busy recording a new album of cover turns that spans from Rush to Barry Manilow.

“Afflatus” is set for an April 16 release with the promise of a full length original album for a fall release.

The first single from the new album is “The Spirit of Radio” by Canadian rockers Rush.

Each of the songs on the new album have some sort of special meaning or significance to the band members.
