The NASCAR Cup Series caps off the double header weekend at Phoenix Raceway with the Instacart 500.

While he has yet to win a race this season so far, Brad Keselowski has been near the front of the pack in every race and is currently at second place in the standings. Keselowski sits on the pole and will bring the field to green with Las Vegas winner Kyle Larson alongside.

After failing the pre-race inspection process twice Hendrick Motorsports drivers Kyle Larson and William Byron will have to start the race from the back of the field. The 51 car driven by Cody Ware has also been moved to the back of the field. Hendricks Motorsports driver and reigning Cup Series champion Chase Elliott will have to move to the back of the field due to unapproved adjustments.

Quin Houff, who was already starting from the back of the field, will have to move back a little further for unapproved adjustments.

The number 53 car will start the race from the back of the field after making a driver change. Garrett Smithley will be the driver of the 53 car.

A 500 kilometer race, stage one is 75 lpas in length, stage two is 115 laps in length, and stage three is 122 laps in lenthg for a total of 312 miles around the one mile track.

NASCAR has called for a competiton caution on lap 30.

Lap nine, after having to start the race from the back of the field, Kyle Larson, Chase Elliott, and William Byron have moved up to 25th, 26th, and 27th.

Lap 10, Denny Hamlin hold a half second lead on Christopher Bell with Brad Keselowski in third; Martin Truex Jr and Ryan Blaney battle it out for fourth.

Lap 15, Denny Hamlin continues to lead the race with Christopher Bell in second. Ryan Blaney has gotten around Martin Truex Jr for fourth.

Lap 20, Denny Hamlin has increased his lead to over a second on Christopher Bell; Brad Keselowski, Ryan Blaney, and Joey Logano round out the top five. Kyle Larson has entered the top 20 at 20th; while William Byron is in 21st and Chase Elliott is in 23rd.

Lap 23, Denny Hamlin’s lead is now nearly two seconds on Brad Keselowski. There are 33 cars on the lead lap with Timmy Hill off the track nine laps down.

Lap 25, Ryan Blaney is moving through the field and has now taken third from Christopher Bell.

Lap 26, the top five are Denny Hamlin, Brad Keselowski, Ryan Blaney, Christopher Bell, and Joey Logano.

Lap 30, Kyle Larson has moved up to 15th, William Byron is now in the top 20 at 20th, and Chase Elliott is in 21st after starting the race at the back of the field.

At the end of lap 30, NASCAR has displayed the yellow flag for the competition caution.

Lap 42, after getting caught for a speeding penalty and having to start the race from the back of the field, Kyle Larson has moved up to 28th place.

Lap 44, Ryan Blaney has caught up to leader Brad Keselowski and is challenging for the lead.

Ryan Blaney has passed Brad Keselowski for the lead; Christopher Bell, Joey Logano, and Denny Hamlin round out the top five with Kevin Harvick challenging Hamlin for fifth.

The caution flag comes out on lap 46 for a crash involving Alex Bowman and Ross Chastain with a little contact from Austin Dillon.

Timmy Hill is the first driver out of the race.

The caution flag comes out on lap 90 for a crash involving Anthony Alfredo. Alfredo hit the wall after making contact with Cody Ware.
